Roxy Ball Room's new £2m bowling alley is set to open in Nottingham's Cornerhouse in the autumn
The booze and balls concept, which already has a venue in Thurland Street, will take over the former World Cuisine Buffet restaurant, which closed in 2017.
As well as ten pin bowling, there will be ping pong, retro gaming machines and beer pong at the site, which used to have space for 500 diners.
The trailblazing leisure group, founded in 2013 by Leeds-born brothers Matt and Ben Jones, is poised for major growth throughout 2020 and beyond after securing a £7.5m investment from the Foresight Group.
Nottingham will be one of three cities, along with Manchester and Birmingham, to launch a new Roxy Ball Room - and the Cornerhouse will be their biggest venue to date.
The brothers said: "’The past seven years have been a complete blur for Roxy Leisure, but what a journey it’s been.
"When we launched Roxy Ball Room back in 2013, we knew we were onto something special and seven additional venue launches later, here we are.
"’Of course, there’s been plenty of challenges along the way, but as the public thirst for a more social and interactive nightlife experience increased, we managed to evolve and stay one step ahead.
‘’We’ve got incredible new bars coming to Manchester, Nottingham and Birmingham in the next few months and keep a look out for details of further projects later in the year. This is going to be a big decade for Roxy!’’
