A new outdoor gym in Falkirk has secured funding following a public vote.
Friends of Inchyra Park in Grangemouth have been allocated £23,000 from Falkirk Council's Community Choices initiative.
The fully-equipped exercise space will cost £28,000 to be built and received the most votes during a public poll earlier this summer.
Local residents were asked to select their favourite ideas to improve the Falkirk Council area and the Inchyra Park project came first.
In a Facebook post, a spokesperson for Friends of Inchyra Park said: "We have some amazing news to share.
"We have just been informed we have been successful in the community choices public vote for the outdoor gym.
"Massive thank you to everyone who voted for this project... Just a bit more work to go to ensure the extra match funding and the dream becomes a reality."
The group regularly take on initiatives to improve the park for the local community and were recently also awarded £1,500.
This came from the Earlsgate Energy Fund and will allow Friends of Inchyra Park to keep making pre-planned improvements.
