A 24-hour gym set to open in Gateshead is offering £10.99 a month membership for limited time.
truGym will open in Delta Bank Road towards the end of February. The new site, which is handy for the MetroCentre, Swalwell and Dunston, will be open for 24 hours a day. As well as a fully-stocked gym, truGym will offer free exercise classes, a sauna and a protein shake bar. The 20,000 sq foot gym will have free parking.
"truGym is all about offering affordable fitness to the community," Kemal Housein, National Marketing Manager for truGym told ChronicleLive.
"We offer a similar pricing model to many of the budget gyms but the facilities are of a higher specification."
truGym has 11 other branches around the country, including in Stockton, Bromley, Chatham and Peterborough.
truGym is already offering memberships at a special early bird price of £10.99 per month, which is a heavy discount on the usual price of £20.00. The £10.99 price will increase to £20 after six months, unless customers opt to renew to an annual membership, which will be priced at £14.99.
