Arsenal endured a miserable 2020/21 campaign, their eighth-placed finish resulting in the club failing to qualify for Europe for the first time in 25 years.
However, one shining light during a disappointing season for the Gunners was home grown starlet Bukayo Saka.
Saka notched seven goals and seven assists across all competitions for Arsenal last term, statistics that read even more impressive considering he was utilised in a number of different roles including left-back.
The 19-year-old's standout performances were rewarded by the Gunners faithful, who voted him as the club's Player of the season with a resounding 51% of the vote.
Saka finished ahead of the likes of Nicolas Pepe and Kieran Tierney, who finished second and third in the standings for an award that will boost the youngster's confidence even more ahead of the European Championships this summer.
Arsenal fans were extremely pleased for their teenage star, voicing their support for Saka on social media.
Saka added to his already impressive CV on Wednesday evening, scoring his first international goal as England defeated Austria 1-0 at the Teeside Stadium.
He latched onto a Jack Grealish pass in the 56th minute before firing it into the back of the net from a tight angle.
He'll look to take this boost of confidence to take a starring role in England's Euro 2020 campaign before returning to Arsenal for pre-season later in the summer.
