Ole Gunnar Solskjaer launched a furious post-match rant after Manchester United's victory over Everton - but one of his former team-mates saw the funny side.
Despite seeing his team win 3-1 at Goodison Park, Solskjaer was visibly angry as he hit out at the hectic fixture schedule in a live television interview with BT Sport.
The Norwegian claimed United had been "set up to fail" after being made to play their Premier League fixture on Saturday lunchtime, on the back of a shock Champions League defeat to Istanbul Basaksehir in Turkey on Wednesday night.
Solskjaer was under pressure after successive losses, raising questions over his future, and his emotions came out in front of the cameras.
"The authorities set us up for fail, who is responsible? We've had enough of that," he said. "Players this season, in these times, a pandemic, mentally and physically it's draining.
"Let us play on a Sunday, there's an international break after this, it's a joke."
Former United and Everton star Phil Neville watched the outburst from the Premier League Productions studio.
Neville was surprised to see such a reaction from his old colleague and could not help but chuckle to himself.
Asked why he was laughing, Neville replied: "Well, it was quite funny wasn't it? I mean he was angry wasn't he, him."
Neville was then asked if he had seen Solskjaer like that before.
"No - but I can understand what he's thinking," he said.
Despite his initial reaction, Neville did echo Solskjaer's concerns about player welfare.
"It is a disgrace," he added. "I know we're working for the Premier League but it is a disgrace that they go to Turkey on Wednesday night and then have to play at 12.30 on a Saturday morning.
"Physically for a player that's not elite programming, that's not elite scheduling, that's treating players like a piece of meat.
"That's not looking out for the best of the player."
