Unlike most gacha games, Neverness to Everness will be launching simultaneously on PC, PS5, and mobile devices. The PS5 version of the game will be a native version with console-exclusive features.
If you’re a PS5 Pro user, there’s more good news. NTE is also PS5 Pro optimized, and PlayStation has finally revealed some of the features you can expect when the game launches on April 29, 2026.
All NTE PS5 and PS5 Pro features explained

On base PS5, NTE boasts 4K resolution and seamless map loading for smooth open world traversal. The game takes place in the sprawling metropolis of Hethereau with a dynamic weather system. It’s full of dauntingly tall buildings and neon-soaked streets, not to mention distorted anomaly effects that completely flip its open world’s landscape.
You can explore all these locations on foot or through a wide variety of vehicles. Seamless map loading ensures you won’t encounter loading screens in your travels.
As for NTE’s PS5 Pro version, it supports the system’s exclusive AI-upscaling tech, PSSR, so expect better resolution and crisper picture quality. Advanced graphical effects, such as volumetric fog and Distance Field Ambient Occlusion for better draw distance, are also on display.
On PS5 Pro, NTE utilizes the latest PSSR2 technology, which ensures 4K resolution at smooth 60 Hz. There’s no mention of VRR or 120 FPS mode, but Hotta Studio added these graphics options to Tower of Fantasy’s PS5 version, so it might do the same for its latest gacha release.
Naturally, NTE leverages some of the DualSense controller features as well. These include Haptic Feedback, Adaptive Triggers, and Light Bar effects. Haptics ensure every combat strike feels heavy, whereas Adaptive Triggers let you feel the physical resistance and surge of driving a vehicle. Unique light bar effects are assigned to specific characters, though Hotta didn’t go into details on this one.
That’s all the PS5 and PS5 Pro features you can expect in Neverness to Everness at launch.
