Jordan Henderson has stated that Liverpool will “never relax” as they continue to compete across three competitions.
Jurgen Klopp’s side recorded a 2-0 win at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday to move within three points of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.
Earlier in the week Liverpool booked their place in the Champions League quarter-finals - having made it through to the last eight of the FA Cup on the back of winning the Carabao Cup.
And Henderson believes the Reds squad has the right mentality to deal with the challenges ahead.

“We concentrate on ourselves, concentrate on the next game. I think that’s important and worked really well for us,” the Liverpool captain told BT Sport.
“The focus has always been on the next game, no matter what competition it’s in, and to give everything in that game. There’s no reason to change that now.
“We’ve felt like this (confident) for a long time, we know we’ve got to work and improve all the time. Get better. You can never relax. You’ve always got to push and drive each other on.”
One player that has provided Liverpool with an added spark in recent weeks is Luis Diaz .
The January arrival from Porto has settled into life quickly as part of Klopp’s forward line and put his body on the line to score Liverpool’s opening goal against Brighton.
Asked about Diaz’s quality after the game at the Amex, the Reds skipper said he had been impressed by the 25-year-old’s work-rate, both with and without the ball.
“He’s done well for weeks now. He’s come in and done fantastically well,” Henderson said.
“With the ball, the quality he possesses, without the ball, the work rate as well. It was another big performance from him.”
