'Never ordering off FB again': Edinburgh man's hilarious rant after Christmas tree disappointment

An Edinburgh man has been left gobsmacked after buying a rainbow, LGBT+ branded Christmas tree on social media - only to discover it wasn’t quite what he had paid for when it arrived.

Billy Taylor, 40, purchased the item from a page on Facebook.

The advert stated it was a ‘6ft Equal Love Rainbow Christmas Tree’, but it turned out to be more than a few feet smaller.

Billy splashed out £30 for the gay-friendly decoration, but ended up far from amused.

Posting on Facebook, he said: “So my long awaited 6ft rainbow coloured Christmas tree got delivered.”

“I got this, you’re lucky if it’s 6inches.

“Never ordering off FB sites again c**ts.”

He definitely didn't get what he expected! (Facebook)

And it’s gone down a treat with his pals.

One commented: “This is actually the best thing I’ve seen all day.”

Another replied: “saw the ad on Facebook and thought of ordering it....So glad I didn't.....”
