Odd commercial tie-up of the year award has to go to John Lydon, aka Sex Pistols front man Johnny Rotten, who will appear in a TV ad for, er, Dairy Crest's Country Life butter. Lydon's commercial love-in, which includes donning an "English gentleman-style tweed ensemble" for the TV advert, alas doesn't extend to digital media after the great man banned Monkey from showing the ad. Ever. Still, Lydon may have taken the odd couple crown from BSkyB – remember David Hasselhoff and Mike Reid or Alice Cooper and Ronnie Corbett?
