Channel 4 have given us First Dates, Celebs Go Dating, even Naked Attraction... next up: a dating show for a guineafowl.
Naked Attraction host Anna Richardson – not one to be fazed by a line-up of cockerels – has been enlisted to help Nigel the guineafowl find love.
Nigel has been broken-hearted since he fell hopelessly in love with a turkey named Mistletoe.
But cock of the walk Gregory Peck (a fellow turkey) ruffled feathers by making Mistletoe his bird.
Now, staff at Raystede rescue centre near Lewes, East Sussex, are concerned for lonely Nigel’s well-being, and are desperate to find him a hen – preferably from his own breed – as guineafowl have a better quality of life in pairs and flocks.
So the Animal Rescue Live team are stepping in to Nigel’s love nest, and tasking Anna with helping the lovelorn bird find romance next Friday.
Other celebs appearing alongside Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick include Martin and Shirlie Kemp, Olympian Greg Rutherford and Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw.
