Sunderland fans are delighted to have reached the second round of the Carabao Cup thanks to goals from Josh Hawkes and Aiden O'Brien.
It was the Black Cats youngster who got the ball rolling on just his second start for Lee Johnson's side in a competitive fixture.
His low finish into the bottom corner went through a crowd of bodies to give Sunderland the lead on the brink of half-time.
Jack Diamond was then hauled to the floor after the restart and Aiden O'Brien tucked away the resulting spot kick to give the Wearsider's a healthy lead.

But the Valiants game back into the game and Jamie Proctor halved the deficit just after the hour mark, before a floodlight failure caused a stoppage in play.
The Black Cats were able to hang on for the win and fans were impressed by a whole host of performances.
