Never Have I Ever is back with season 2 on Netflix today

I watched the first season of Never Have I Ever more than once, outright binging it to begin with.

The first season was left on a cliff hanger, with Devi locking lips with her frenemy Ben while her long time crush called her.

Not only is the building romantic tension, with our young protagonist having to decide which boy she likes more, but her mother is ready to move them to India (something that Devi has no interest in).

Paxton has been Devi's crush for as long as she can remember, and she is really physically attracted to him, but her frenemy Ben is emotionally vulnerable and they challenge each other to be better.

All ten episodes of the second season are now live on Netflix, and with them each being around 30 minutes long they're easy to fly through.

Mindy Kaling, who has worked on The Mindy Project, Champions and The Office, executive produces the show and you can certainly see her signature stamp on it.

With characters who are unapologetically themselves often finding themselves in tricky situations, the dramatic comedy uses it's platform to explore more complex issues surrounding morality, grief and identity.

It manages to do it all while still being funny and holding the essence of teenage drama, when which boy you like more is of the height of importance.

We see Devi's fashion game improve this second season as she makes questionable choices - rather than making an actual decision about her love interests, she opts for having 'two boyfriends'.

But as we saw in the first season, Devi's trusty therapist is ready to add a little perspective and keep the whole thing a little more grounded.

Paxton has his own episode this season, and it features supermodel Gigi Hadid as his narrator.

I'm excited to fly through season two, which you can watch here on Netflix.
