A Look At Carson Strong’s Senior Bowl Performance and The Mock Draft Projections Post Senior Bowl.

We are two plus months away from the 2022 NFL Draft which is being held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Former Nevada quarterback Carson Strong is hoping to hear his name being selected by one of the 32 teams during the draft in late April.

With the 2022 Senior Bowl in the history books, the road to the  draft continues to move forward. Carson Strong participated in the Senior Bowl practices and played in the game in Mobile last Saturday afternoon.

Per the numbers, Strong did not exactly light up the Mobile skies. Strong quarterbacked in five drives that yielded zero points and one drive that led to a missed field goal attempt.

The reviews of Strong’s performance during the Senior Bowl practices and the game on Saturday was mixed at best. ESPN’s Todd McShay and Jordan Reid both raved about Carson’s arm strength but had concerns about his accuracy and his mobility given his knee issues that plagued him during his final season in Nevada.

Strong has been completely upfront about his knee issues and has even found some humor about his knee issues that have the scouts and draft experts concerned. Here is Strong in this statement he gave to NFL.com in finding the humor in his knee procedure.

With the Senior Bowl over and the NFL Draft Combine fast approaching, this will be another chance for Strong to improve his draft stock as we approach the 2022 NFL Draft.

Pro Football Network now has Carson Strong projected to go to the Minnesota Vikings in the third round with the 46th pick overall.

The San Diego Union Tribune has Strong going in the second round with the 34tth pick to the Detroit Lions.

Jordan Reid of ESPN has Carson Strong projected to go in the second with the 64th pick to the Denver Broncos.(Note: This is an ESPN plus article so in order to view and read this article, you would need to be an ESPN+ subscriber.)
