The Nets have taken Texas big man Jarrett Allen with the No. 22 pick in the NBA draft.
Allen has great size _ 6-11 with a 7-5 { wingspan _ and improved during his one season at Texas despite the fact that the Longhorns' roster didn't do much to help Allen showcase his skills.
Allen had 13.4 points per game, 57.9 percent from the field, 56.4 percent from the line, 18.9 percent defensive rebounding rate, 11.0 offensive rebounding rate. In the Big 12 only, his numbers jumped to: 16.2 ppg, 60.8 percent FG, 58.5 percent FT, 22.2 percent DR percent, 11.4 percent OR percent.
