Netflix Tiger King star Joe Exotic is reportedly suffering with coronavirus in prison.
The star of the smash hit documentary is currently serving a 22-year sentence at a federal prison in Texas, for 17 charges of animal abuse and two counts of murder for hire.
Joe's husband Dillion Passage, 24, was worried that Joe, 57, would contract Covid-19, after other prisoners in the jail came down with the virus.
Joe had been been self-isolating but has now contracted the virus, according to a report from the prison - reports Mirror Online.
A report from Texomashompage.com reported he has tested positive for Covid-19 and has been transferred to a hospital.
Speaking to Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM Radio Andy show on Wednesday, Dillon said: "We speak like three to five times every day, but since he’s been moved to this new facility, they are putting him on a Covid-19 isolation because of the previous jail he was at, there were cases.
"I’ve yet to speak to him since he moved.”
Dillon then confirmed that Joe "is in his own Covid-19 quarantine.”
He continued: "From what I know, yes. From what he told me."
Joe was imprisoned in 2019 after he was found guilty of paying a hitman $3,000 to kill his nemesis, Carole Baskin, who is an animal rights activist.
Dillon continued to declare his loyalty to Joe, despite them probably being apart for almost two decades.
He told Adam Cohen: "I do love Joe. He’s been with my through my darkest times, and I’m not going to just dip out and abandon him when he needs me most."
