Netflix slams ‘inaccurate’ claims about Meghan Markle and CEO Ted Sarandos

  • Netflix has denied claims that its CEO, Ted Sarandos, would only speak to Meghan Markle if lawyers were present.
  • A Netflix spokesperson called the allegation, reported by Variety, "absolutely inaccurate".
  • Meghan and Harry's lawyer, Michael J Kump, also refuted the claims, stating Meghan regularly communicates with Sarandos and has visited his home without legal representation.
  • The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a multi-year deal with Netflix in 2020, which was renewed last year, to produce various content.
  • Their projects to date include the documentary series Harry & Meghan and two seasons of With Love, Meghan, with two scripted adaptations currently in development.
