Netflix series Too Hot To Handle has been tipped to surpass Love Island’s popularity and take over the slot on ITV.
The streaming site only released their new dating show a few days ago – and already bookmakers predict it could be bigger than its "reality" dating rival.
Paddy Power have tipped the show to amass more views than ITV’s last edition of their show, making it odds-on at 1/2.
It’s rated 4/1 that will ITV choose to broadcast the show in the United Kingdom, and just 2/1 that an all-British version of the show will to be released, with current contestants from several different countries.
Though there is currently no update on when we can expect series two to be released, it’s priced at 8/1 that producers release a winter version or 4/7 that it will return next year.
Up against fierce competition such as Tiger King and Ozark, it’s priced at 25/1 to be Netflix’s most-viewed show of the year.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: “From a documentary on tigers in captivity, to a dating show with randy singletons in captivity, Netflix has provided two of the biggest streaming hits of the year so far.
“And, with a huge reaction on social media, we predict series two will be on the way as soon as possible – and that producers may even opt to release a winter edition a la Love Island.”
