There’s a new film that’s got everyone talking on Netflix and it goes by the name of The Weekend Away.
The streaming service has done rather well out of its films in the last two years, with Bird Box just the tip of the iceberg.
The Weekend Away, based on a hit book of the same name, was released this week and by Saturday was in the top 5 most watched things on Netflix in the UK.

It stars Leighton Meester and Christina Wolfe as Beth and Kate, two friends who reunite on a trip to Croatia.
The two bump into two handsome strangers on their first night and then Beth wakes up to find Kate missing and blood in the apartment.
Frantic with worry, Beth reports Kate’s disappearance to the police but ends up being the prime suspect herself as she has no recollection of what happened.
The Weekend Away is one of those films where everyone is a suspect.
There are some rather shady characters intertwined in the plot - from Beth’s husband to the creepy apartment owner in Croatia, with some even shadier secrets they want to keep hidden.
We won't spoil how it ends but let’s just say the people Beth should be able to trust are the ones she needs to be most wary of.
The Weekend Away is also well worth sticking with a the big twist on who Beth thinks is ultimately responsible for Kate’s disappearance is then followed by another even bigger plot twist.
The Weekend Away has become quite a talking point on Twitter, largely down to its bombshell reveals at the end.
