Netflix's David Attenborough narrated documentary series 'Our Planet' is available to watch now

There are few things more wondrous on TV than a great nature series, and if it's narrated by David Attenborough then even better.

Today (April 5), a new eight-part documentary series has landed on Netflix - Our Planet looks at the natural beauty of our planet and the multitude of things we do to effortlessly destroy it each and every day.

The episodes will each explore different regions and themes similar to BBC shows like Blue Planet and Frozen Planet.

Some of the episode titles are Frozen Worlds, Jungles and The High Seas.

The episode description on Netflix says this about Frozen Worlds: 'On the unforgiving frontier of climate change, polar bears, walruses, seals and penguins find their icy Edens in peril.'

It's another reminder that as much as we love these animals and seeing them on our screens that we cannot take them for granted as climate change is literally destroying their homes.

The series was filmed by more than 600 crew members over four years in 50 countries and was produced largely by the teams behind BBC's Planet Earth - which is evident in how stunning it all looks.

Our Planet is available to stream on Netflix right now.
