Netflix's Buried by the Bernards 'so wild' that fans question if reality show is scripted

The series follows a a family living in Memphis, Tennessee and sees the clan looking to hike up funeral prices and make the most of their business that trades in death.

Widely praised as "hilarious" by viewers across social media, the outlandish antics have even left fans questioning what is real and what is not.

Well, R Bernard Funeral Services is indeed a real business and first came to attention on social media when they posted an advert of a dead man waking up in shock at the prices which caused much amusement.

According to Ryan Bernard, however, this is entirely as the family are.

Speaking to Local Memphis, he said: "It definitely is a reality, This is us. This is us every day."

He also revealed that the producers of the show were keen to avoid "drama" in the reality show.

"We thought that was a great idea so we just went with it because this is us every day," he added.

Bernard's uncle Kevin Miller also insisted to the news station that the family were being constantly filmed going about their day.

"They're with you all of the time, you couldn't even go to the restroom," he said.

So, while there is no doubt the magic of some TV injected, we really are seeing the family as they would interact!
