Walt Disney is offering Disney+ for £1.99 for a limited period, as the entertainment giant seeks to stem a slowdown in paid user growth at its streaming service.
The promotion will begin on November 8 and will be valid for a week until November 14 for new and eligible returning subscribers in the UK, US and several other countries.
Users will be charged the normal £7.99 a month subscription fee after the first month ends, unless they cancel it beforehand.
Disney recently hinted at a slowdown in subscriber growth in Disney+, leading to a rare Wall Street downgrade.

The brand, which carries the " Star Wars " and "Avengers" franchises in its portfolio, is understood to have picked up a wave of new subscribers during the pandemic in response to cinema closures.
However, subscriptions are reported to have slowed down since the economy reopened.
Disney will report its fourth-quarter results on Wednesday.
The American giant launched its own streaming service in 2019 with the announcement of new productions, including a Marvel TV series starring Tom Hiddleston as Loki, a new Star Wars series with actors from Rogue One and US streaming rights to The Simpsons.
The entertainment behemoth had been planning its own streaming venture for years as a competitor to Netflix, after acquiring 20th Century Fox to add to its portfolio of Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm.

The company said through Disney Plus, any new film releases exclusive to its platform would be pulled from other services like Netflix.
On November 12, the channel will be marking its second anniversary with a global Disney Plus Day.
That’s when a collection of films and TV series will be released on the service, including Home Alone reboot Home Sweet Home Alone, the second season of The World According to Jeff Goldblum and the streaming debuts of Jungle Cruise and Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings.
A new Pixar short will also debut featuring the characters from the recent movie Luca, and Olaf Presents, a series of animated shorts featuring the snowman from Frozen.
The event will also bring a special focus on Star Wars character Boba Fett, who will be the subject of the upcoming Disney Plus original series The Book of Boba Fett.
