Netflix reveals huge viewing figures for acclaimed drama Unbelievable

The viewing figures for one of the most beloved television dramas of the year have been revealed.

Unbelievable follows the dark story of teen Marie Adler (Booksmart star Kaitlyn Dever) who goes to the police after she was bound and raped for hours in her home.

However, the police and her loved ones believe she has fabricated the story entirely.

Meanwhile, the drama also follows the investigations of Detective Rasmussen ( Toni Collette ) and Detective Duvall ( Merritt Wever ) as they track down a prolific serial rapist.

The Netflix miniseries that is based on a traumatic true story has now been revealed by Netflix to have been watched by 32 million households across its first 28 days of release.

Meanwhile, Netflix Original film Tall Girl has received 41 million views in the same time frame.

Tall Girl follows Jodi (Ava Michelle), who has always been the tallest girl in school - who hates how uncomfortable her height is until she meets Stig (Luke Eisner), a seemingly perfect Swedish foreign exchange student who's even taller than she is.

It should be noted that a view is only counted if the user has streamed at least 70 percent of the runtime of the film.

The streaming giant previously revealed that their Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler comedy Murder Mystery had also brought them record figures in its first three day s of release.

Unbelievable is available now on Netflix.
