"The Great British Baking Show" 2025 is officially underway. After "The Great British Bake-Off" kicked off across the pond on Channel 4 earlier this week, the first episode has finally come to Netflix, meaning U.S. fans can see the latest batch of bakers tackle whatever tough challenges that Paul and Prue have cooked up for Cake Week.

Across the next couple of months, we'll watch as 12 more competitors whip up tasty treats, astounding signature bakes, and face more technical trials as they vie for the Bake-Off crown in TV's cosiest competitive series.
Who will rise above the other bakers and lay claim to that coveted cake stand in the series finale? We'll have to follow along on the streaming service for the next nine weeks to find out.

"The Great British Bake Off" 2025 airs weekly on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. BST on Channel 4.
The series then heads to Netflix as "The Great British Baking Show" in the U.S. New episodes air Fridays starting September 5.

Every week, one of the contestants is crowned Star Baker... but another has to bow out of the competition. Sadly, the first contestant to leave the tent was Hassan, owing to struggles with his Swiss roll and the tricky Technical that saw the contestants whipping up a set of fondant fancies.
