It’s been more than a decade since Victorious said its final “Make it Shine”, Netflix is taking us back to the most chaotic performing arts school in LA. Yep — Hollywood Arts is officially back in session.
On October 25, both Deadline and Variety confirmed that the streamer has ordered 26 episodes of a brand-new spinoff series called Hollywood Arts, set to debut in 2026.

The show will also make its way to Nickelodeon and Paramount+ after its Netflix launch, because apparently, Trina Vega’s (Daniella Monet) legacy cannot be contained by one platform.
Leading the charge? Daniella Monet, who fans will remember as the endlessly extra sister of Tori Vega (Victoria Justice). This time, she’s not just returning as Trina — she’s also taking on the role of executive producer.

In a statement, Monet said she feels “very lucky and grateful” to revisit the role that helped shape her career.
“Victorious was in a lot of ways life-changing for all of us,” she said. “Our cast is forever bonded by that experience, and to think that I have an opportunity to steward anything close to that is a feeling I can’t begin to describe.”
Who is in the cast for Victorious spinoff Hollywood Arts?

According to Deadline, Monet will be joined by Alyssa Miles (Hanging Out with Alyssa and Xavier), Emmy Liu-Wang (Raven’s Home), Peyton Jackson (Young Dylan), Erika Swayze (Workin’ Moms), and Martin Kamm (Unsung Hero). Yvette Nicole Brown — known for Community and Drake & Josh — will also appear as a guest star.

There’s no confirmation yet on whether the OG Victorious crew — Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande, Liz Gillies, Avan Jogia or Leon Thomas III — will drop in, but if life has taught us anything, it’s that Hollywood loves a surprise cameo.
What is the plot for Victorious spinoff Hollywood Arts?
Per Variety, the show’s official logline reads: “Struggling actress Trina Vega (Monet) returns to her former high school, Hollywood Arts, as an unqualified substitute teacher, quickly finding herself both clashing with and unexpectedly inspiring a new generation of ambitious and talented students.”
In short: Trina Vega is back, a little older, still unfiltered, and now somehow in charge of shaping young creative minds. What could possibly go wrong?

Behind the scenes, Hollywood Arts is being steered by Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin, who will write, executive produce, and serve as showrunners. Fun fact: Farrow also voiced the ventriloquist dummy Rex in the original Victorious — so yes, there’s deep Nick lore here.
Notably, Dan Schneider, the creator of Victorious, is not involved in the spinoff. Schneider parted ways with Nickolodeon in 2018 after multiple allegations of inappropriate behaviour on set surfaced. Many past Nickelodeon cast members shared their experiences with Schneider in the docuseries Quiet on the Set.
Is there a trailer for the Victorious spinoff Hollywood Arts?
No trailer yet, which feels like cruel and unusual punishment. But with production having started, we do have a little teaser:
When can I watch the Victorious spinoff Hollywood Arts?
The series will stream exclusively on Netflix in 2026, with releases on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ to follow. So there will be plenty of time for fan edits to “Beggin On Your Knees” and “Give It Up” to roll through!
It’s been over a decade since Victorious gave us hallway jam sessions and questionable improv scenes, but as Trina Vega once taught us — some stars are simply too dramatic to stay gone for long.
