Get ready to shell out more money, NFL fans.
Because next season, if you want to watch some out-of-market and special games, you’re going to need to shell out further for streaming services.
In addition to YouTube TV with NFL Sunday Ticket, Prime Video with Thursday Night Football, Peacock for certain games and so on, you now will need Netflix to watch NFL games on Christmas, per an announcement on Wednesday as we await the full schedule.
The two games on December 25 this year will be on Netflix, as will one holiday game in 2025 and 2026, per an announcement (see below). NFL fans are complaining already:
You can’t spell Netflix without “NFL”

Netflix is finalizing a deal to acquire exclusive rights to stream two NFL Christmas Day games, per @Lucas_Shaw.
That means the NFL will now have exclusive games on four different streaming services — Netflix, Peacock, Amazon, and ESPN+.
