Netflix has officially given the green light to the limited series 'Black Rabbit,' which will feature Hollywood stars Jason Bateman and Jude Law in leading roles. The series, which was initially announced to be in development at the streaming platform in October 2022, has now been confirmed for production.

Joining Bateman and Law in the cast are Cleopatra Coleman, Amaka Okafor, ??p?´ Dìrísù, and Dagmara Dominczyk. The official synopsis of the series teases a gripping narrative, stating, 'When the owner of a New York City hotspot (Bateman) allows his turbulent brother (Law) back into his life, he opens the door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he's built.'

The creative minds behind 'Black Rabbit' are Zach Baylin and Kate Susman, who also serve as executive producers. Bateman will take on the role of director for the first two episodes and executive produce the series alongside Michael Costigan under their Aggregate Films banner. Law and Ben Jackson will also be executive producers through Riff Raff Entertainment. Additionally, Andrew Hinderaker, Zac Frognowski, Justin Levy, and David Bernon are attached as executive producers.

Notably, Bateman has a strong relationship with Netflix, having previously starred in the popular crime drama 'Ozark.' He is currently involved in various projects, including a series based on the 2021 Esquire article 'Daddy Ball,' as well as the features 'Carry On' and 'Dark Wire.' On the other hand, Law, known for his roles in acclaimed films such as 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' and 'Cold Mountain,' has recently appeared in TV shows like 'The Young Pope' and 'The Third Day.' He is set to lead the upcoming 'Star Wars' series 'Skeleton Crew' on Disney+.

Both Bateman and Law are represented by CAA, with Bateman also being managed by Lighthouse Management + Media and attorney Tom Hoberman.
