Netflix has revealed the concept artwork for its brand new anime adaptation of Gundam - and it looks explosive.
The dramatic image shows a giant Gundam robot strolling through fire.
It will be the streaming platform’s first ever live-action feature film version of the Sunrise studio’s anime franchise, which is being put together by Legendary Pictures.

Jordan Vogt-Roberts, best known for his work on Kong: Skull Island , was announced as the director and producer of the movie in April 2021.
But the live-action project itself has been in the works since 2018.
Brian K Vaughan, who has been behind Y: The Last Man and Ex Machina, is also working as a writer and executive producer on the project.
What is Gundam?
Gundam is a Japanese military fiction which features giant robots, otherwise known as mecho, with the name ‘Gundam’.
The series of anime was created by Sunrise studios and was first created in April 1979, in a TV show called Mobile Suit Gundam.
Over time the franchise has produced numerous animated series but this new collaboration with Legendary Pictures is the first live-action adaptation.
What does the Gundam concept artwork show?
The concept artwork for Gundam, released by Netflix , shows a Gundam robot shrouded in flames.
Its eyes are glowing as it marches through the fire - and it appears to resemble the original Gundam designed by Kunio Okawara in the 1979 classic anime.
When is the Gundam movie coming to Netflix?
At the moment there is no set date for the new film coming to Netflix, with the concept artwork only just released.
The project was first announced in 2018 with Netflix confirming it had landed the movie along with director Jordan Vogt-Roberts in April 2021.
Gundam is one of several live-action anime adaptations slated for release on Netflix, including Cowboy Bebop which is noted for release in November 2021.
