Netflix finally lets you remove titles from your 'Continue Watching' row - here's how

It’s one of the most popular TV and film streaming services around the world, and now Netflix has announced that it’s rolling out a handy new feature.

Netflix will now let you remove titles from your ‘continue watching’ row - meaning those programmes you tried once won’t clog up your feed!

The row is designed to make it easier to jump back into TV programmes and films you’ve been watching.

But the issue comes when you try out a film or TV programme and decide you don’t like it.

Despite this, it will still appear in your ‘continue watching’ row, only moving down when you start watching other new content.

Now, The Verge has revealed that Netflix is rolling out the option to delete titles from the ‘continue watching’ row.

The Verge explained: “If someone is no longer interested in watching a movie or a TV show, the title doesn’t disappear from the row. It eventually gets pushed down the line as new titles are watched, but it doesn’t just go away.

“Now, people can access the feature by clicking on a title in the row.”

The new feature is available now on the Android Netflix app, and will be rolled out on the iOS app on June 29.

Netflix to track down users who use someone else's password

It remains unclear when, or if, Netflix plans to roll it out for those watching on their TVs

Meanwhile, Netflix is also making it easier to access episodes, ratings and information on TV programmes and films, by adding them directly into the menu when you tap on a title.

The Verge added: “This should save people from having to go into the movie or TV show’s individual landing page.”
