Ye olde babes, I have the best news for ya! We finally know when Bridgerton season four is dropping AND the spicy series has been renewed for seasons five and six.
Yep, Netflix unfurled its almighty, tea-stained scroll to share the hella exciting announcement and Bridgerton stans are bursting with excitement.

Netflix unveils Bridgerton season 4, plus seasons 5 and 6
According to Netflix’s announcement, which was shared by Lady Whistledown herself, Bridgerton season four will premiere in 2026 — which should come as no surprise after it was previously announced that we had a lil while to wait til the new season was fully baked.

“Dearest Gentle Reader,” the note begins. “Rarely is this author granted the opportunity to share with you such information.”
“It is with great pleasure I can announce Bridgerton shall return for seasons five and six. Do celebrate accordingly. And in the meantime, do prepare yourselves, for Bridgerton season four shall debut in 2026.
“It would seem this author is going to be quite busy.”
Netflix also shared that the series “centres on Benedict (Luke Thompson), the bohemian second son. Unwilling to settle down like his brothers, his perspective changes when he encounters a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball”.
In the teaser, we see Benedict traipsing through a ballroom in search of someone, who we quickly find to be Sophie Baek (played by Aussie diva Yerin Ha).
When the pair lay eyes on each other, she’s invited to dance by another bloke. Poor thing!

This is the second Bridgerton season four teaser to drop, the first was a fun announcement vid that unveiled Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton as the focus of the series.
It begins with a montage of Bridgerton mems, before Thompson opens a door behind the scenes (as in the actor, not the character).
“I hear we’re fitting you for a suit,” the unseen voice tells the actor, to which Thompson replies: “I already have an outfit for tonight.”
“It’s not for tonight… it’s for the masquerade ball,” the voice then declares as they hand him his costume.
“In that case, come on in,” the actor then says.

Details are scarce on seasons five and six so hold tight for more on that, but it’s just so bloody good to know that we have heaps more vintage goodness to look forward to!
