Netflix documentary Don't F**k With Cats is not for animal lovers

This new documentary really does what it says on the tin.

Streaming service Netflix is releasing a documentary this month that follows a team of investigators who use the web to hunt down a vicious stranger who killed two kittens.

The group feared that the anonymous person who appeared in a video that showed him killing the animals was destined to become a serial killer due to his behaviour.

Utilising the world wide web - including its darker corners - the amateur sleuths get to work on finding the killer, as the trailer above demonstrates.

“Clearly, this video is not the end,” says one of them in the trailer. "Something bad’s about to happen."

Naturally it’s a very international affair too with locations in the documentary including European cities such as London and Paris but also locations in the United States and Russia.

What spurred on this adventure, however?

The cardinal rule of the Internet - and the world, really: "Don’t F**k with Cats".

Facts are facts.

The investigation goes global (Netflix)

It’s not the only true crime documentary that Netflix fans will be deeply involved in this December, either, as and traces the story of convicted serial killer Henry Lee Lucas.

Once imprisoned, Lucas began confessing to further killings in huge detail, but soon it emerges that he didn't commit them at all.

The documentary looks at why he confessed and how he managed to convince so many of his guilt.

Don’t F**k With Cats is released on Netflix on December 18, 2019.
