Netflix announces huge blow for Line of Duty fans

Netflix has announced some bad news for fans of Line of Duty.

As if the wait for the new series isn't bad enough, we're soon not going to be able to binge watch past episodes.

That's because the streaming giant is removing previous series from the platform at the end of this month.

So, if you have just started diving into the world of AC-12, you better get a move on.

Netflix will remove the old episodes on Saturday, October 31, presumably to make way for new additions in November.

However, there is another way to watch.

All five seasons of the show are available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

But it means Line of Duty fans will be even more desperate for news on series six of the intense cop drama.

Filming is underway for the next instalment of the BBC hit with Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure and Martin Compston, aka, Superintendent Ted Hastings, Detective Inspector Kate Fleming and Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott, all back on set.

Production was, however, delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic so is expected to air later than planned - but it is still set to hit our TV screens in 2021.
