The lineup includes the docuseries 'Kaulitz & Kaulitz,' which follows the Tokio Hotel popstar siblings, and the sci-fi drama 'Cassandra,' centered around an enthusiastic electronic household helper.
The announcement took place at a special event in Berlin, where Netflix showcased a diverse range of content, including feature films, series, documentaries, and reality shows. Katja Hofem, Netflix's VP of content for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, emphasized the appeal of local stories in captivating audiences globally.
Among the upcoming releases is 'Kaulitz & Kaulitz,' produced by Constantin Entertainment, offering an intimate look at the lives of Bill and Tom Kaulitz as they navigate their music career and personal lives. 'Cassandra,' produced by Constantin Film subsidiary Rat Pack Filmproduktion, explores the mysteries surrounding an old smart home and its electronic caretaker.
Netflix also teased future projects such as 'Brick,' a film starring Matthias Schweighöfer, Ruby O. Fee, and Frederick Lau, and 'Crooks,' a series created by Marvin Kren following two criminals entangled in a web of crime across European cities.
Other notable productions include 'Blame the Game,' a comedy-thriller, and 'Shirin David,' a documentary series focusing on Germany's prominent female rapper. Additionally, documentary series like 'Pinzner: German Hitman' and 'Jack Unterweger' delve into real-life criminal cases, offering a gripping narrative for viewers.
