- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vehemently denied "disgusting" rumours linking Israel to the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
- Speaking on Thursday, 18 September, Netanyahu countered conspiracy theories suggesting his government was involved in the 31-year-old's death in Utah on 10 September.
- He compared the spread of these rumours to Nazi propaganda, quoting Joseph Goebbels, and asserted that Kirk was a "lover of Israel".
- Netanyahu's remarks come after MAGA commentators claimed Kirk was privately more critical of the Israeli government than he publicly let on.
