Net have blamed a "tram fault" as services were delayed following a broken down tram in Nottingham city centre.
The incident meant that no trams were operating between The Forest and The Old Market Square in both directions.
Technicians were on hand at around 4.50pm on Monday, November 8.
In a tweet, NETTram said: "Due to a tram fault we have no service operating between The Forest and The Old Market Square in both directions.
"Our Technicians are on site and hope to have things moving as soon as possible. NCT Yellow line buses are accepting tram tickets and passes #NETLive."
Normal services resumed at around 5.10pm.
