Nestle launches new Smarties Chocolate Buttons range including white, milk and orange flavours

Easter is still a couple of months away, but that hasn’t stopped Nestle from dropping three new tasty bags of Smarties treats.

The little buttons will now come in milk, white and orange chocolate and are filled with little bits of existing Smarties.

A sharing bag costs £1.59 while the small 32.5g bags are priced at 65p, reports Hull Live.

Tesco are currently selling both the milk and white chocolate bags but it’s currently only Asda that is stocking the orange flavour.

Nestle announced the release of the new treats a few weeks ago and fans on social media could barely contain their excitement.

It’s hard to believe the first-ever Smarties were released 83 years ago in 1937.

Alberto Pisanello, brand manager for Smarties, said: "We know that Smarties hold special memories for so many people, and they are much loved for their bright colours, taste and texture.

"Our Smarties Buttons offer all the fun, colour and crunch of Smarties, enveloped in a delicious smooth milk, white or orange-flavoured chocolate button. It's Smarties re-imagined, and we are tremendously excited to introduce this new addition to the family. We hope fans love them as much as we do!"
