Nestlé and Starbucks expand their At-Home range with a duo of signature hot chocolates

With winter on its way, it may be a good time to start stocking up on hot beverages to keep you nice and warm at home, or when on-the-go.

For the chocolate fans out there, you’ll be delighted to hear that Nestlé is expanding its Starbucks At-Home range with a duo of signature hot chocolates.

The two new products will be available in Sainsbury’s from 12th September and in Asda from 18th September, as well as online.

Just in time for winter, customers can cosy up with a delicious, right, and velvety mug of hot choccy - you can even add some marshmallows and whipped cream to mirror your favourite Starbucks drink.

You can even make Starbucks' tasty salted caramel flavoured hot chocolate from home (Starbucks)

The new range features two varieties and can be mixed with warm milk or dairy alternatives.

First up we have Starbucks 42% Signature Chocolate - a delicious blend of cacao beans that deliver a velvety smooth chocolate taste.

For those caramel lovers, there’s even a Signature Chocolate Salted Caramel flavour to tantalise your taste buds. The delicious hot chocolate is made with high quality cocoa and layered with a delectable salted caramel flavour - our mouths are already watering.

The chocolate treat comes in a 330g tin, and costs £4.25. Just one hot chocolate alone at Starbucks would set you back £2.50 - so you’ll also be saving money in the long rung

“We are very excited to launch these new additions under the iconic Starbucks brand to be enjoyed at home. These delicious indulgent-tasting hot chocolates are made with high quality cocoa certified by Rainforest Alliance, and we are confident they will be a big hit not only amongst Starbucks lovers.” says Kelly Fleetwood, Brand Manager at Nestlé UK.

Since forming the Global Coffee Alliance in 2018, Nestlé and Starbucks have brought to market a wide range of premium coffee products at a fast pace – including whole bean coffees, premium instant/soluble coffees, roast and ground coffees as well as the Starbucks capsules developed using Nespresso and Nescafé Dolce Gusto proprietary coffee and system technologies.

Nestlé and Starbucks continue to work closely together to develop new, innovative products and go-to market strategies that will amplify the reach and expand the unique experience of the Starbucks brand globally.
