Neon, 70s stripes and jogging shorts amongst fashion trends at Glastonbury 2019

Each year thousands from across the UK head to Worthy Farm for Glastonbury - and take their fashion sense with them.

Glastonbury is the place where the rules go out the window and people go wild with their clothes, hair and makeup and we are loving it.

Over the years we’ve seen the return of bumbags, the arrival of the flower crown and the move from wellies to walking boots and Dr Martens.

But what were the fashion must-haves at Glastonbury 2019?

Here are the fashion trends we spotted this year:

The pared back look

A heatwave has fallen over Glastonbury weekend this year, which means that layering up and going overboard is the last thing many people want to do.

Plenty of ladies have gone with the pared back, shorts and a t-shirt look this year and they look amazing.

Jogging shorts

Kim Kardashian definitely started a trend when she stepped out wearing jogging shorts as an outfit.

Girls as Glaso are rocking them this year and looking amazing as they do.

Bright hair

Being warm hasn't stopped many people going all out.

It’s always popular at Glastonbury, especially when the weather is nice.

This year it's all about the lilacs and pinks paired with bright sunglasses.

Day dresses and boots

A classic.

Simple and easy - particularly if you need to go to the loo - the day dress and boots is always a great option.

It says you didn’t put too much effort into your outfit - even though you did - and means you look like you didn’t wake up in a tent.

Ladies are heading out to the festival decked out in neon leotards, tops and skirts this weekend and it’s perfect.

Gone are the subtle crowns - this year is all about the huge arrangements.
