Nemanja Matic trolls Bruno Fernandes with addition to Manchester United dressing room wall

Manchester United fans are loving Nemanja Matic's latest Instagram post after he mocked Cristiano Ronaldo and teammate Bruno Fernandes on Instagram.

There was a controversial moment in Portugal's World Cup qualifier with Serbia last week as Ronaldo was denied a late winner when he thought his injury-time effort had crossed the goal line before being cleared.

Replays showed that the ball was over the line and Portugal should have won, though it left Matic very pleased as his country secured a point.

The midfielder, who wasn't involved in the game after retiring from international duty in August 2020, shared a photo of an image that he has stuck above Fernandes' locker in the United dressing room at Carrington.

He then tagged Ronaldo and Fernandes in a post, writing: "Just on the line now, is it clear now?"

At the time, Ronaldo did not see the funny side of things. He was booked for protesting before storming off the pitch at the final whistle and hurling away his captain's armband in disgust.

Ronaldo later took to Instagram to vent his frustrations, posting: "I always give and will give everything for my country, that will never change. But there are difficult times to deal with, especially when we feel that an entire nation is being harmed. We will keep our heads up and face the next challenge now."
