Nemanja Matic has hinted he experienced problems behind the scenes at Chelsea, which prompted his 2017 move to Manchester United.
Matic signed for the Red Devils in a £40million deal shortly after Jose Mourinho was made boss, and reunited with the Portuguese at Old Trafford.
The midfielder had been an important player for Chelsea, who won the title in the Serbian's final season at Stamford Bridge.
Eyebrows were therefore raised when Matic signed for a direct title rival.
Matic has avoided discussing in detail his reasons for leaving Chelsea for United, but has hinted at possible issues behind the scenes motivating his move.

"I was very happy at Chelsea, but I thought it was the right moment to change club," Matic told Football Beyond Borders.
"There were reasons which are hard for me to say now. I will never forget my time there, but I'm a Manchester United player now."
Matic is clearly an admirer of Mourinho, having followed him to United, but explained playing under him isn't always easy.

He added: "It depends. If you win, he's the best guy ever. But if you lose, you're hiding from him at the training ground. But he's an amazing coach."
These days Matic plays under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at United, but has equal admiration for the Norwegian.
"Ole is a great manager. I think he has improved a lot since he came to United, and he is different now. I'm sure he has a great future here, and he will win us trophies," he said.
