Nemanja Matic has poked fun at Cristiano Ronaldo after beating the forward in Manchester United training.
United were last in action against Norwich at Carrow Road earlier this month after suffering from a Covid-19 outbreak in the squad.
However, speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Monday's game versus Newcastle, Ralf Rangnick confirmed 25 outfield players trained this week and United should now be back at full strength with the exception of the injured (thigh) Paul Pogba.
United's players appeared to be in high spirits as they gradually returned to training and Matic has been joking with Ronaldo.
Matic's team beat Ronaldo's team in a training match at Carrington and the Serbian bragged about it on social media. When asked by club media what his post was about, Matic laughed and looked smug when poking fun at Ronaldo for being on the losing team.
"Oh, nothing, just a simple thing," Matic responded.
"My team won but it was a very easy game for us today.
"Cristiano, his team won the game yesterday, but it was tight today - the score was 15-4!"
United play Newcastle on Monday 27 December.
