Nelson Agholor responds to to Philly fire hero on Twitter with the perfect response

Nelson Agholor got owned pretty bad by a local Philadelphia hero earlier today. A man said they were catching children who were being thrown to protection from a fire. He said they were catching them safely, “unlike Agholor” who had some pretty big drops yesterday.

The Eagles wideout could have been salty. He could have stayed silent. He could have shot back — which wouldn’t have been a great idea because that’s a pretty funny line.

Instead, Agholor not only took the high road. He took the best road possible.

We found out a few things here. Agholor can take a joke. He also knows how important it is to give back to the community and to make sure heroes are recognized. Here’s to hoping Agholor can track down this man and give him the tickets he deserves. Who knows, this guy may even cheer on the receiver he made fun of . . . actually there’s no way that happens. We are dealing with an Eagles fan.
