Nelson Agholor on final year of his deal: “The money will take care of itself”

Nelson Agholor is in the final year of his rookie deal, yet faces the conundrum of trying to put up numbers on an Eagles roster that’s now loaded with talent at the skill positions. The sense of urgency isn’t lost on Agholor, who spent the majority of the offseason engulfed in trade rumors.

After working out with Randy Moss and reporting to Eagles training camp in the best shape of his life, Aghlolor told Derrick Gunn of Comcast Sports Philadelphia, that the “money will take care itself”, in regards to his impending free agency.

“The money will take care of itself, for me it’s about consistency,” Agholor said.

Agholor harped on making the most of his opportunities and “making plays on every down” while playing with an enormous chip on his shoulder. Agholor looks bigger, faster and determined to live up to his lofty billing as a first-round pick.
