The ultimate throwback R&B festival is heading to Nottingham with a bill so 'sick' you'll need an Alka Seltzer to make it through the line-up.
Nelly, Shaggy, Salt-N-Pepa, Mya, Blu Cantrell, Sweet Female Attitude and Oxide and Neutrino are just some of the names already confirmed for the Kisstory Blast Off tour, which arrives at the Motorpoint Arena on March 3.
Hosted by American hype man and hip-hop personality, Fatman Scoop, organisers say the all-star R&B party is a "one-of-a-kind tour".
The show also includes appearances from UK garage stars So Solid, Lisa Maffia, MC Romeo, scene pioneer MC DT, and DJ Luck & MC Neat.
Said Nelly: “I’m so excited to be a part of this tour with so many amazing artists. A tour like this hasn’t happened in the UK before, so it’s a real honour to be involved with it. My albums Sweat and Suit turn 15 this year – we gotta turn this thing up and get the party going in 2020.”
Fatman Scoop added: “This tour is gonna be dope. I’ve always felt welcome in the UK, and I’m honoured to be hosting such a huge bill. This is gonna be legendary, everyone involved with this tour is gonna kill it every single night.”
Tickets priced from £47.68 go on sale at 10am on Friday, October 18, at motorpointarenanottingham.com (all prices listed include admin and facility fee. Hospitality packages are available).
A venue pre-sale will take place from 10am on Thursday, October 17. Customers wishing to buy priority tickets will need to sign up to the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham Mailing List by 4pm on Wednesday, October 16.
