Neil Warnock's Manchester United verdict and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's problems

Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock believes it will take more than three transfer windows to sort out the problems at Manchester United, after watching his side claim a 2-0 victory at Old Trafford.

The Bluebirds stunned United with two goals either side of the break to leave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a mountain of problems to address over the summer. Nathaniel Mendez-Laing scored both and there were boos from some United fans after the loss to a relegated side, who hadn't picked up a point against a top six side all season before the game.

And Warnock, one of Solskjaer's successors at Cardiff, thinks there are major problems at the Reds which will not be solved quickly.

"It's not going to be an easy situation for Man Utd, I think everyone knows that," said Warnock.

"It'll take more than two or three transfer windows to turn things around. Perhaps the start they had (under Solskjaer) fudged one or two issues.

"I'm afraid, the fans will have to bite their tongues for a few years."
