Neil McCann fumes at 'disrespectful' Celtic hero Odonne Edouard as cheeky Panenka draws his ire

Angry former Hearts star Neil McCann insists Odsonne Edouard's cheeky Scottish Cup final penalty was disrespectful.

The French striker scored from the spot as Celtic won a historic quadruple Treble on penalties after a 3-3 draw at Hampden.

It was a stirring comeback from Hearts who were 2-0 down after just 29 minutes when Christophe Berra conceded a penalty.

Edouard stepped up to take and he beat former team-mate Craig Gordon with a cheeky Panenka.

That drew a furious reaction from the goalkeeper, who threw the ball at the Celtic star, and pundit Neil McCann insists he can see why the veteran lost his rag.

He said: "I can understand (Craig Gordon's reaction). I think that's pretty disrespectful.

"It's come off for him and it looks brilliant. It's just selfish. I didn't like it. It's not because Celtic have gone two-nil up - that's his (former) team-mate and that's why Craig's reacted like that.

"That was a little bit cheeky."

Gordon would go on to save from Ryan Christie in the shoot-out but ultimately end up on the losing side.

After Stephen Kingsley and Craig Wighton had missed for Hearts the goalkeeper went the wrong way on Kris Ajer's decisive kick.
