Neil Lennon video slammed by raging Rangers legend Ally McCoist as a 'disgrace'

Furious Ally McCoist has slammed the individual who filmed and verbally abused Neil Lennon as a "disgrace".

A video has widely circulated online of the former Celtic manager that is believed to have been filmed in England yesterday.

A man filming can be heard shouting: "See you Neil, you ginger c***", the direction of Lennon.

McCoist maintains friendly relations with the Irishman despite their battles over the years having been at the helm of the Glasgow's biggest clubs at the same time.

And the 57-year-old Rangers legend admits he was left appalled that someone would invade Lennon's privacy and hurl abuse in such a disgusting manner.

He said on talkSPORT: "It shouldn't be allowed, it simply shouldn't be allowed.

"It's a complete and utter invasion of his privacy. It's as simple as that.

"And by the way, there but for the grace of god. I have been worse for wear with alcohol and it looks as though that's been the case with Neil here.

"I have been there so I'm not going to preach to anybody about it but what I will say is I think the invasion of his privacy is a disgrace.

"I cannot for the life of me ...

"That is one of the worst inventions in the world, the camera phone.

"It gives people the opportunity to take absolute liberties and it's a scandal."

He continued: "I just find it unbelievable that anybody in a situation where somebody needs help would film it rather than help. What's that all about?"
