Former Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley has thrown former Parkhead boss Neil Lennon's name into contention for the vacant manager role at Cardiff City.
The Welsh midfielder won three league titles during his spell at Parkhead, working with Lennon heavily in Glasgow.
Cardiff are on the hunt for a new boss after Mick McCarthy was relieved of his duties following a 2-0 defeat to Middlesbrough, an eighth defeat in succession.
Lennon has been out of work since leaving his post as Celtic manager for the second time earlier this year and Ledley believes the Cardiff job could prove appealing.
"It is a difficult one," Ledley told BBC Radio Wales.
"I heard rumours Chris Wilder was at the last game so there's links there.
"The person who comes in has to realise there will be no money and it will be a difficult task to turn it around. A lot of players are leaving at the end of the season as they are out of contract.
"It's down to Cardiff to appoint the right person. Mark [Hudson] is an up-and-coming manager.
"I know him very well and he is hungry to get into the game. He may have to wait his time but it would be perfect for him.
"Neil Lennon is still out there who I worked with at Celtic. He would definitely be interested, I know."
