Neil Lennon salutes the Green Brigade as Celtic Ultras go above and beyond to make some noise

Thankful Neil Lennon and a host of his first-team Celtic boss stars paid tribute to the Green Brigade after the supporters group unveiled a banner ahead of the clash with Rangers.

The Ultras headed to Lennoxtown on Friday and unveiled the placard that read "We're out here for you, be in there for us", with fans still locked out amid the pandemic.

And the North Curve Twitter account have uploaded a hype video ahead of today's showdown between the Premiership champions and their fierce rivals.

The clip shows Glasgow getting ready for the big one and it includes Lennon and many of his key men stopping to recognise the fan group.

Lennon has been a vocal supporter of the Green Brigade in the past with the group famously arriving in their thousands before the Irishman's first home game as permanent boss against St Mirren back in 2010.

There will be no singing inside the stadium but the Premiership champions will be hoping silence will be golden when they duel with Rangers.

Celtic will be without Ryan Christie, Hatem Abd Elhamed and Nir Bitton with the trio in isolation but Odsonne Edouard is in the mix for a place in the squad.
