Neil Lennon's post-match interview cut short as Celtic boss gets to speak for just 15 seconds on Premier Sports

Celtic manager Neil Lennon was delighted to see his side dominate Aberdeen and book their place in the Scottish Cup final next month.

But viewers watching the game on Premier Sports were surely left feeling short-changed when his post-match interview was cut to just 15 seconds.

The dramatic semi-final was full of incidents, with two red cards, three goals and a host of talking points.

But Celtic boss Lennon was cut short due to the lengthy delay in the first half as Ryan Christie was stretchered off after his horrific head clash with Dominic Ball.

In the shorter than short interview, Lennon said: "It's the best they've played since I've been here.

"From start to finish, I know the game changes on the cards but from my view they're both red cards.

"I thought we started the game brilliantly and deserved to win it.

"I can't speak highly enough of these players."

Then the interview ended as the channel switched to racing cars.

Premier Sports tweeted a video of the interview with the caption 'Neil Lennon with a brief synopsis of the game' with a laughing emoji.

It was quickly deleted.

But it remains to be seen if fans see the funny side of Scottish football being shortchanged on screen time yet again.
