Neil Lennon's Celtic press conference in full as tetchy boss snaps at repeated Rangers questions

Celtic boss Neil Lennon abruptly ended his press conference on Tuesday after he was repeatedly asked about Sunday's Betfred Cup Final.

The Parkhead side will take on their bitter rivals Rangers with the season's first piece of silverware up for grabs.

But first the Hoops need to take care of matters in the Premiership with Hamilton visiting Celtic Park on Wednesday night.

Lennon made it clear at the start of the press conference he was only going to answer questions regarding the Accies game.

The Celtic boss was asked how much of a lift it was to have Odsonne Edouard, Boli Bolingoli and Mohamed Elyounoussi return to the training pitch, but refused to confirm if the trio would be fit for the Hampden clash.

He said: "We've got another five days before the cup final, but our main focus is on tomorrow and we'll deal with what comes after that.

"I'm not going to talk about Sunday, you can ask me that on Friday."

Later on in the presser he was asked to relive his first cup final as a manager in 2011 before he interrupted, saying: "Are we talking about the final, I am not talking about anything until Friday."

The reporter responded: "The 2011 final?"

Lennon replied: "Yeah but it's not relevant for tomorrow night, sorry."

Despite that exchange another reporter then followed that up with a further question about his defensive tactics for the big game at the weekend.

And the Hoops boss wasn't pleased about the repeated quizzing and provided a sharp response as he proceeded to get up and leave the presser.

He said: "What have I told you, I'm here to talk about Hamilton. You've got all Friday to ask me bout the cup final, previous cup finals, cup finals to come or tinkering formations.

"It's disrespectful to the game tonight and the opposition so I'll cover all that on Friday guys, all right?"
